About Studio B

Hello, I'm Brogan, the artist and owner behind Studio B.

What started as a love for painting animals has grown into a shop filled with art prints, stationery, and accessories — all featuring my own designs. Every piece begins with my artwork and is created to carry that same colour, character, and personality into everyday life.

Studio B is for fellow animal lovers. For the people who stop to look at every dog in the street. For the cat-obsessed. For the wildlife dreamers.

I wanted to create more than just products — I wanted to create small, joyful things that make you smile when you see them on your wall, your desk, or in your hands.

A bit about me ...

Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Although I’m largely self-taught, I’ve spent years developing my skills through trying new things and study, earning a National Diploma in Art and Design and a degree in Photography. Creativity has always been in me — evolving, growing, and guiding me toward where I truly belong.

Today, I specialise in painting animals — a subject that isn’t simply inspiration, but a lifelong love. Animals have always been at the centre of my world. I’ve worked in animal care, explored dog grooming, spent time in shelters, and taken on all kinds of hands-on roles. While none of those paths became my forever career, each one deepened my understanding of animals — their personalities, their emotions and their quirks.

That connection is what now fuels my art.

I work primarily in gouache, drawn to its richness and vibrant colour. Through my paintings, I aim to capture more than just a likeness — I want to express character, soul, and the unique spirit that makes every animal unforgettable. For me, painting animals isn’t just a subject choice; it’s a way of honouring the creatures who have shaped my life. Colour is incredibly important to me — I use it not just to recreate fur and feathers, but to express mood, spirit, and individuality.

Alongside my wildlife paintings, I create bespoke pet portraits, capturing beloved companions with warmth and character. There’s something truly special about honouring the bond between people and their animals, and I feel privileged to translate that love onto paper.

Looking ahead, I would love to explore illustrating books, especially those centred around animals and nature,

For me, painting animals isn’t just a subject choice — it’s a way of celebrating the creatures who have shaped my life.

Here's my family!

Artist Brogan, has always been passionate about art and animals, and from a very young age has painted. Mostly self taught, however she did study Art GCSE and done a National Diploma in Art & Design. From here she carried on her creative journey through doing a degree in Photography. However it wasn't until 2021 where she found her love of gouache paints and wanted to start producing art with them.
